For the 2nd Round of the County matches in division 1A played at Westfield on the 7th April 2012,the county team were 2nd position after the 1st round of County Matches in division 1A and the team were in an expectant mood.
The first match against our regional neighbours Essex 2nd team was a sedate affair with Herts winning 8–2. The second match against the division leaders Lincolnshire was a a hard won draw at 5–5, with outstanding performances from the team.
The third match of the day was against Staffordshire with most sets going to 5 and all the team making a contribution to win it 8–2.
The Herts Junior Team remain unbeaten amd held the winners Lincolnshire to a draw.
We also did our regional neighbours “Essex2″ a favour by beating Staffordshire, thereby saving them from relegation.

1st Round
The first match against Worcestershire was a hard won victory with the score of 6–4. The second match against Yorkshire 2 was a nearly a whitewash with the Herts players obliterating the opposition and scoring 9–1.
The last 2 matches against Cheshire 1 and Northamptonshire were very close and ended up with honours even at 5–5.
The county matches were fiercely contested in Division 1A and there were outstanding contributions from all the players, with the new kids on the block Zac & Leon playing in the county matches for first time and making their mark.
The Herts County Junior team remain undefeated with 2 wins and 2 draws and are positioned 2nd in the table after the first round.

COUNTY MATCHES in the PREMIER JUNIOR DIVISION 2010 - 2011
For the 2nd Round of the County matches in the Premier Division played at Birmingham on the 2nd & 3rd April 2011
The Hertfordshire County team were steam rolled by Sussex 0–10 in the same way as their previous opponents, however the next 3 matches were very close losing 4–6 where the team had a chance to gain a draw or a win and add to their 2 points from the 1st round, however it was not to be.
The man of the match has to be Luke who had an outstanding victories against Yorkshire’s no. 1 & no. 2 (ranked at 23 & 50 respectively) and played with gusto and determination.
Hampshire and Herts junior teams will be relegated from the Premier junior division next season.
