The Junior activities are run by the HCJTTT (Hertfordshire County Junior Table Tennis Trust ) which is a non -profit making organisation. There are County ranking trials, external tournaments, county matches, regional trials and friendly games held during the season, These are open to all Herts registered Juniors.
The Ranking Trials, Herts Junior Closed Tournament & Herts 2* Open Tournament are held at the following location;
Barnet Table Tennis Centre (BTTC), Barnet Lane, Barnet, Herts, EN5 2DN
Training is held at selected venues including BTTC
The coaching for the matches are offered to all registered U18 Hertfordshire and N.W. London Juniors for the current session. In order to qualify you must be Hertfordshire or N.W london based (born, school or live)or play at a Hertfordshire affiliated club, be under 18 and be at intermediate or elite level. Hertfordshire have one Junior team in the County Championships. They are presently in the Division 1A. The county team consists of a minimum of three boys and two girls,usually a team of 4 boys and 3 girls will participate in each round of County matches. Friendly Matches are also held at BTTC for the juniors ranked lower down. The players are all drawn from the Hertfordshire Junior County squad.

The Herts County Junior Coach holds an ETTA Lead Coach Licence ( UKCC Level 2), is insured and has a CRB issued Enhanced Disclosure.
Child protection guidelines are in force for all the activities including the Herts 2* Tournament.
No special clothing is required except for gym shoes or trainers and lightweight comfortable clothing, tracksuits or sports clothes. No jeans or white tops etc.
